The South West Coast Path is easily accessible from Poldhu Cove which has a small car park and some limited roadside parking. Heading northwards from the car park, following the coastline, there is a short walk partly up a minor road with paths leading off through ungrazed grassland along the cliff top. This area is rich with wild flowers and butterflies and can be spectacular in late spring and early summer.
At the top there is another small car park from where the coastal path continues down between the sea and Mullion Golf Course to the sandy beach of Church Cove with its picturesque little church known as ‘The Church Of The Storms’.
Poldhu Cove to Church Cove is about 0.5miles.
Heading south along the Lizard from Poldhu Cove beach, following the South West Coast Path to Polurrian Cove 1.25 miles away, a spectacular walk reaches the little fishing harbour of Mullion Cove.
