View Fistral beach, Newquay in a larger map

This popular surfing beach is on the western side of Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall.

There is a headland, Towan Head, at the northern end of the beach and the ridge to the south is called Pentire.

The beach faces the Atlantic Ocean and is Cornwall’s premier surfing beach.
