Yes, the beach has one of the widest expenses of sand to be found in south west cornwall.

Car parks are conveniently close with access to the beach either down steps or down a gently sloping ramp.

A range of facilities such as toilets and cafes are close to the beach and RNLI lifeguards patrol the beach most of the time from Easter to October half term.

The village of Praa Sands is close by and a variety of holiday accommodation including self-catering and caravan and camp sites are within a short distance of the beach.
