This sandy beach may be less well known than some North Coast beaches but it is a great place for families and offers some fantastic water sport activities. Check tide tables to time your visit to enjoy the huge expanses of sand uncovered at low tide and the best surfing conditions. On either side of the beach the South West Coast Path provides spectacular cliff tops walks from which there are good views of the historic tin mining engine houses dotted along this part of the coastline.
Dogs: banned in season.
