This sandy beach is a superb place for the family, offering a range of shops and cafes conveniently close to the beach together with excellent watersport activities such as body-boarding, surfing, fishing and rock pooling. On the western side of the beach is Portreath’s little harbour with its narrow entrance protected by high granite walls. Fabulous walks can be had along the adjoining South West Coast Path, west to Godrevy and east to Porthtowan.
